Enriching the morphing neighborhood of the East Village, Veselka Restaurant is appetizing to all cuisine lovers. Veselka is one place where everybody can consume Ukrainian foods without worry of extreme spices and enigmatic parts. The restaurant enmeshes different sours and tangy tastes with simplicity. For example one would notice the ubiquitous sauerkraut accompanying succulent sausage, steam or fried perogies and much more. Veselka is also known for their giant cupped coffees. Many a time a slice from a variety of cakes and pastries are served alongside. In whole, Veselka is a warm restaurant with a fantastic aesthetic atmosphere.
It is hard to walk alongside the outer café without notice of the hand painted interior walls of people in a jazzy world. The painting which stretches around two walls is an artifact. For the fantasy world projected has been preserved by the restaurants inherited owners after many gawkings undertaken. Veselka should be visited often. For those just wanting to sit themselves in the rear for an affordable lunch, or for those in a rush who want some coffee and a chat with true Ukrainian fry cook.

Location: 9th Street on the corner of Second Ave.
